Philips of Canada - AM Radio

$76.95

This Atomic Era AM radio was made by Philips of Canada in the late fifties to early sixties. A beautiful and functional piece of vintage decor that was proudly made in Canada.

In good working condition with only a minute crackle sound in the dial, tuner stays properly locked on to station signal. One cosmetic flaw, the back vent grate is slightly melted and warped, likely from an internal part which overheated and was replaced, or from improper use and not allowing proper air circulation around the unit. This does not affect its function at all, nor is it a problem that is likely to reoccur if proper measures are taken such as not leaving the radio on for long periods unattended.

Returns and exchange details

Due to the nature of vintage items being used, we cannot guarantee that any item will be in perfect working condition. Oftentimes vintage items need a bit more creativity to operate than a brand new item and can have unique quirks like a stiff button, or wiggly latch. We do our best to thoroughly test and describe the condition of every item we sell.
Returns will be handled on a case by case basis.
