Dinky Toys - 186 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE

Dinky Toys was the brand name for a range of die-cast zamac zinc alloy miniature vehicles produced by Meccano Ltd. They were made in England from 1934 to 1979, at a factory in Binns Road in Liverpool. Dinky Toys were among the most popular diecast vehicles ever made – pre-dating other popular diecast marques, including Corgi, Matchbox and Mattel's Hot Wheels (Ralston 2009, 7; Richardson 1999, 128).

This Chrysler Royal Sedan model was made in the 1930's. Beautifully painted in a light grey blue with no chips or scratches. The wheels roll with a bit of stiffness but besides that it's a smooth ride, and it has a great vintage charm.

Returns and exchange details

Due to the nature of vintage items being used, we cannot guarantee that any item will be in perfect working condition. Oftentimes vintage items need a bit more creativity to operate than a brand new item and can have unique quirks like a stiff button, or wiggly latch. We do our best to thoroughly test and describe the condition of every item we sell.
Returns will be handled on a case by case basis.
