Vintage Butler- Meaford Blow Torch
Made in Canada
This beautiful brass blow torch was made in Meaford, Ontario by Meaford Steel Products Ltd. It is a 105A model, one of Butler's four best sellers for a number of years. It is in used condition, with scratches, worn areas, signs of age(patina) and has a small break in the metal of the knob. Structurally it appears to be good. It is untested, I did watch a video of one of these being fired up, highly recommend.
Butler produced blow torches from 1940 until 1973(?) during which time they were almost certainly the main - if not the only - manufacturer of blow torches in Canada.
It was around 1973 that Butler ceased direct involvement in blow torch production. As a result, it could be suggested that Butler's blow torch side was either sold to, or merged with Meaford Steel Products Limited (see immediately below), and it is in 1974 that a link can be established between Butler Metal Products Company Limited and Meaford Steel Products Limited.

Returns and exchange details
Due to the nature of vintage items being used, we cannot guarantee that any item will be in perfect working condition. Oftentimes vintage items need a bit more creativity to operate than a brand new item and can have unique quirks like a stiff button, or wiggly latch. We do our best to thoroughly test and describe the condition of every item we sell.
Returns will be handled on a case by case basis, and partial refunds will not be given under any circumstances.
Returns must be shipped back at customer's expense and original purchase and shipping will be refunded after a case is opened with Canada Post.
