Hobnail Milkglass Table Lamp

Hobnail Milkglass Table Lamp

Ask a question

This milkglass table lamp hails from the fifties midcentury era when milkglass reached peak popularity with many home items being produced in the bumpy hobnail design made popular by Fenton Art Glass Company founded in 1905 and still in operation to this day. In the time of increasing interest in design, this lamp takes its cues from antique oil lanterns which would have had the double glass chimney and globe and added a glass base and brass/brass coloured plastic design elements.

This lamp is in excellent condition and has no chips cracks or bad scratches on any part. There may be some minor tarnish or colour change to the brass surrounding the chimney and minor fading of the brass coloured paint on the plastic design elements but nothing more than is expected of a piece of this age.

Due to the nature of vintage items being used, we cannot guarantee that any item will be in perfect working condition. Oftentimes vintage items need a bit more creativity to operate than a brand new item and can have unique quirks like a stiff button, or wiggly latch. We do our best to thoroughly test and describe the condition of every item we sell.
Returns will be handled on a case by case basis, and partial refunds will not be given under any circumstances.

Returns must be shipped back at customer's expense and original purchase and shipping will be refunded after a case is opened with Canada Post.
