Blue Mountain Pottery is one of Canada's, and Ontario's, best known ceramic producers. The studio was started by Jozo Weider, an immigrant from what was once Czechoslovakia, and is named after its location, at the foot of the Blue Mountains in Collingwood in the early 1950s. It was in operation until 2005. The pottery was well loved throughout Canada, and exported to the US, Britain, Australia and New Zealand, among other international markets.

This swan is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing of the glaze.

Payments

Local customers can pick up their order curbside on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Sunday from 12 - 5pm at 1884 Danforth Avenue. Use coupon code LocalPickup at last page of checkout to remove shipping cost.

Shipping from Canada

All Canadian and USA orders ship in sturdy packaging through Canada Post's regular service.

Overseas orders 1lb or 12" or under will automatically ship via Air Mail at 7 - 10 business days. Orders over these dimensions will ship via SEA MAIL which takes 6 - 12 weeks with orders usually arriving within 7 weeks. This method is slow but very economical and reliable despite the slow pace.

Overseas orders over 1lb or 12" can be upgraded to Air Mail service but this can be up to double the shipping cost. For most accurate rate, contact us.

Our policy is to refund any overcharge on shipping.

Returns and exchange details

Due to the nature of vintage items being used, we cannot guarantee that any item will be in perfect working condition. Oftentimes vintage items need a bit more creativity to operate than a brand new item and can have unique quirks like a stiff button, or wiggly latch. We do our best to thoroughly test and describe the condition of every item we sell.
Returns will be handled on a case by case basis, and partial refunds will not be given under any circumstances.

Returns must be shipped back at customer's expense and original purchase and shipping will be refunded after a case is opened with Canada Post.
