Ask a question

The Stiffel Lamp Company was founded in 1932, in Chicago, Illinois by Ted Stiffel.

Over the years Stiffel Lamp has contributed a myriad of accomplishments to the lamp industry, including the invention of the patented Stiffel Switch, the pole lamp and unparalleled accomplishments in design

This lamp is a genuine Stiffel brass floor lamp crafted during the height of the companies popularity with this example featuring art-deco lines with a floral lotus style base with the main feature being Stiffel's signature on/off mechanism. One can use the key on the side of the lamp or use the much more satisfying motion of pulling down on the central rod, which moves downward activating an internal switch. Turn the key on the main light three times from low to medium to high, and turn the torch switch three times to light one, two or all three torch bulbs. Pump the main pole to turn entire lamp on and off regardless of the setting it is left on.

Comes with original glass shade, fabric and wire over shade, and three way PS bulb as well as torch bulbs.

This beautiful heavy lamp is a quality piece from a time before planned obsolescence, when things were made to last a lifetime.

Due to the nature of vintage items being used, we cannot guarantee that any item will be in perfect working condition. Oftentimes vintage items need a bit more creativity to operate than a brand new item and can have unique quirks like a stiff button, or wiggly latch. We do our best to thoroughly test and describe the condition of every item we sell.
Returns will be handled on a case by case basis, and partial refunds will not be given under any circumstances.

Returns must be shipped back at customer's expense and original purchase and shipping will be refunded after a case is opened with Canada Post.
