Since 1956 the company, then Smith-Corona Inc., has substantially diversified its activities buying up manufacturers of office copy equipment, vacuum cleaners, and many other manufacturing corporations. Among the acquisitions was Proctor Silex, a manufacturer of household appliances.

Proctor-Silex Incorporated, a subsidiary of SCM, manufacturers, had four plants in the United States and one plant in Canada, irons and ironing tables, pads and covers, toasters, coffee makers, ice cream freezers, juicers, drink mixers and other household appliances.

Their Canadian plant was located in Picton, Ontario and is still located in the Bay of Quinte region.

This blender is in very good condition and does still work although the buttons are a little stiff from lack of use. All the original parts are included and the glass pitcher is in perfect condition.

This machine is made the oldschool way with metal parts and a motor strong enough to pulverize ice.

Due to the nature of vintage items being used, we cannot guarantee that any item will be in perfect working condition. Oftentimes vintage items need a bit more creativity to operate than a brand new item and can have unique quirks like a stiff button, or wiggly latch. We do our best to thoroughly test and describe the condition of every item we sell.
Returns will be handled on a case by case basis, and partial refunds will not be given under any circumstances.

Returns must be shipped back at customer's expense and original purchase and shipping will be refunded after a case is opened with Canada Post.
